Cucina Migrante - On Demand Food Catering -

Private Chef Experience
In 2017 Italian Chef Francesco Bonsi & Co Founder/Creative director Adisa Ziric approached to me looking to create an experience for their private chef & cooking classes experiences.
Based In San Diego, Cucina Migrante envision to bring the mediterranean culinary culture to California, with the use of fresh & locally sourced ingredients with the traditional confort of Sicilian dishes.
I started by doing an heuristic evaluation of the existent site, which gave me an initial understanding of Cucina Migrante pain points on terms of how to improve conversion rates through the use of delightful and clear UX/UI.

Heuristic Evaluation
Objective of this assessment
To perform a high level evaluation of the Cucina Migrante (www.cucinamigrante.com) in terms of Usability and provide a opportunity score based on the heuristics and other industry factors, which are categorized by the following:

•Task Orientation

Heuristic Overall Opportunity Scorecard & UX Competitive Analysis
This analisis helped the whole team come together and determine what would we focus on in the first phase of the new web design,
so we could ensure the main elements of the CRO strategy. We concluded that the key focus of this phase was to increase purchase per visit and focus all design visuals on the premise of building trust and converting visitors into users:

Research

The User
We Identified the users and what makes the service different and why would they choose Cucina Migrante over other chef services:

Personas
Mary Ann and Ben reflect patterns observed in our research; They focus on the current state, not the future; they are realistic, not idealized and describe a challenging (but not impossible) design target. We created them because they help understand the users Context, Behaviors, Attitudes, Needs challenges/pain points, goals and motivations.
